Ok so today I took those silhouettes from my previous post and tried to do some value painting in order to try and esablish some form in these silhouttes. I am not a strong painter so I'm trying to learn about values and lighting using black and white only and then moving onto colour. I'm going to flesh these out a bit more tomorrow but here is what I have done today.
